Training Information and Refund Policy

Requirements

  • Please Note: Please send us proof of vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies) BEFORE the first day of service to (562) 478-7473 or email us at iqdogtrainer@gmail.com

  • Dogs must be hungry enough for each training appointment. Please make sure your dog is hungry and ready to participate in training! If the dog is not hungry enough they may be more difficult to train. (If your dog is aggressive for food please contact your trainer for special instructions)

Required Training Gear

  • Normal dog collar (must fit properly)
  • 6 Foot Leash for walking/training, (recommendation: Biothane. See store:) https://hightailhikes.com/?aff=118
  • (Recommended) 15-20 foot long-line. This is very important for teaching the dog to come when called. If you do not own one; your trainer will use their own equipment during the session. But you will need your own to practice on your own time at home. (Recommendation: Biothane. See Recommended Gear below)

  • Aggressive dogs must wear a muzzle and the proper training collar. Owners should be willing to order the necessary equipment either soon or with help or guidance from the trainer. Ask your trainer if a corrections collar will be needed for your dog’s situation.

Refunds and Cancellations

Behavior is not static. An animal will not continue to perform even trained behaviors without ongoing practice. Ultimately, your dog’s behavior is your responsibility. The only guarantee that we offer is that your dog will learn all the commands and you will be given the knowledge to maintain the training. All requests for transfers or refunds must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. All refunds are given based on the discretion of our company. The full training fee is deemed earned upon delivery of the training equipment and startup. Unused training sessions will remain as a credit for future use.

  • A 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from all approved refunds.

  • Tools, equipment and Travel Fees may also be Applied

  • If original payment was made by a credit card the refund will be credited back to the credit card. All other refunds will be issued by check and may take up to 2 weeks to receive.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel an individual lesson ahead of time with 24 hour notice we will reschedule the lesson without any problems. If there is no or less than 24 hour notice, the lesson may be considered lost, used (paid for). For Individual lessons not part of any Training Program there is cancelation fee for same day cancelations. If you would like to reschedule the canceled lesson please pay for the cost of 1 lesson by zelle or venmo or credit card to avoid a cancelation fee. This does not apply to training programs already paid in full.

If you or your dog are sick and you need to cancel without any notice please pay the price for 1 lesson (if not yet paid in full) to avoid a cancellation fee and we will help you reschedule. Lessons may be rescheduled as needed.
